Membership Terms:

A. Application Process:
Membership applications shall be submitted to the Secretariat of the Council.

B. Membership Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Possess a good personal record and a solid level of professional knowledge and culture that enables them to contribute to the development of the Council’s work and activities, and demonstrate commitment to achieving the Council's objectives.
  2. Be a member of one of the recognized chambers in the Syrian Arab Republic (such as the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture, Exporters, Tourism, or Maritime), or a member of a professional syndicate.
  3. Must not have been convicted of a felony, or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, public decency, or any disgraceful crime.

C. Application Review:
The Council shall decide on membership applications within a period not exceeding three weeks from the date of registration.
